Racing Incidents

Jockey Suraj Narredu (FLYING SPUR) was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out soon after the start in the process causing interference to BIG MOVE (Imran Chisty) DECATHLON (Y.S. Srinath) and KOHINOOR THUNDER (N. Rawal).

Explanation of Jockey S. Sreekant (GREEK STAR) in the presence of Trainer M.V. Narayana Rao that his mount was fractious in the gates and injured himself and after the jump out the gelding did not show any interest in the race inspite of his best efforts was noted for future reference.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding though trotting sound had sustained superficial injuries above the right fore elbow and also has sharp molars on both sides.
