Racing Incidents

Jockey A. Imran Khan (BAASHAGAR) was fined for shifting in, in the process forcing in and hampering the running of FLAMES OF FOREST (App. S.S. Tanwar) at about the 400 mtrs.

The Stewards suspended Jockey Deep Shanker (SENSEI) from riding in races w.e.f.20th August 2014 to 9th September 2014 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding in that “ he had made no efforts to ride out his mount soon after entering the straight when there was a gap available in front, instead he shifted out at about the 400 mtrs allowing the other runners take his ground and started riding out only when the front runners had passed him”. However, Jockey Deep Shanker was permitted to ride work during his period of suspension.   The Stewards further cautioned Trainer K. Satheesh with regard to the running of his charge SENSEI.
