Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey C.S. Jodha failing to fulfill his engagement, the Stewards permitted Jockey J.H. Christopher to be substituted on FAIRY EMPEROR.

HANDSOME HAWK (N. Ravinder Singh) and FAIRY EMPEROR (J.H. Christopher) jumped out slowly losing 1 or 2 lengths each.

Explanation of Jockey P.S. Chouhan (RAY OF HOPE) that his instructions were to go to front and to do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort the filly did not raise a winning gallop inspite of his best efforts.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the filly was trotting lame on her right fore due to shoulder sprain.

HANDSOME HAWK (N. Ravinder Singh) and TAKE STOCK (N. Rawal) dropped back from about the 600 mtrs and finished the course distance behind.
