Racing Incidents
Jockey M.F. Ali Khan having been declared medically unfit to ride and no other Jockey is available to ride, at the request of Trainer Faiyaz Shaikh, the Stewards permitted WELL WISHER to be withdrawn. KOHINOOR VALOUR (Ch. K. Chary) was reluctant to be stalled inspite of several attempts, as such the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders, SSC revoked. App. C.S. Vikrant (CAPTAIN GENERAL) was fined for failing to ride out his mount to complete advantage in the final stages of the race. Explanation of Jockey Deep Shanker (TEAM MOTTO) in the presence of Trainer K. Satheesh that he received an interference at about the 350 mtrs, as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage thereafter, was not accepted and the Jockey was severely reprimanded for failing to ride out his mount to complete advantage as soon as he entered into straight as instructed by the Trainer. Trainer A. Vatsalya was cautioned to ensure that his charge ARREY O SAMBA (Harinder Singh) the winner of this race, race more consistently in future, failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action.
