Racing Incidents

MAGICAL SKILL (B. Dileep) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.
 
VERONESE (Khurshad Alam) trailed the field throughout the race.
 
OWN BATTLE (Aneel) and MONTE ROSA (App. C.S. Vikrant) raced at the rear end of the field for greater part of the race.  Respective Trainers K. Satheesh and L.D’ Silva were advised for a better performance in future.
 
The Stewards suspended Jockey Harinder Singh (BHARAT QUEEN) from riding in races w.e.f. 10th August to 22nd August 2016 both days inclusive for incompetent riding in that he checked & bumped in the saddle on his mount on more than one occasion in the straight resulting in the filly getting unbalanced, thereby placing his mount at a disadvantage in the final stages of the race.
 
The Jockey was however, permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension.
 
The Stewards further severely reprimanded Trainer Anupam Sharma to ensure that he declares a better calibre Jockey in future, failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.
