Explanation of Jockey C. Umesh (AIR STRIKE) in the presence of Trainer M. Srinivas Reddy that his instructions were to sit close and do his best in the straight which he could not follow as his mount was blocked for opening in the initial stages of the race due to wall of horses racing in front and thereafter he did his best in the straight.  The Trainer while confirming the above, added that his charge was running for the first time in a mile race and the gelding did not relish.  The Trainer further opined that he would prefer to run the gelding in a shorter distance in future were noted for future reference. Jockey C. Umesh was however cautioned to exercise greater control over his mount at the bend in future.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding sustained superficial injury over left hind.  However the gelding was trotting sound after the race.
 
Jockey K. Sai Kiran (CITY OF SAILS) was cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course soon after the start.
 
Explanation of Jockey R.J. Hannam (HOPE IS ETERNAL) that he was blocked for opening in the intial stages of the race, as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage and thereafter he has done his best in the straight was noted for future reference.
