Trainer K. Satheesh was questioned with regard to the inconsistent running of his charge SURPRISE PARTY (Nakhat Singh) the winner of this race, who finished off board in her previous run to which the Trainer stated that his instructions to Jockey were always to go to front and do his best in the straight but in the previous race which was a 6 furlong race, his charge could not go to front inpsite of Jockeys efforts due to fast initial pace as compared to present race which being 7 furlong the Jockey could easily go to front and set his own pace and went on to win the race.  The Trainer added that he had not fancied his charge and was available at longer odds and further opined that he would run his charge in future only in 7 furlong or over races was noted future reference.

Jockey N. Rawal (CREATOR) was cautioned for travelling wide while negotiating the final bend for no apparent reason.

Jockey Nakhat Singh (SURPRISE PARTY) was cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course in the final 200 mtrs.

Explanation of Jockey Fergus Sweeney (PHENOMENAL CRUISE) that his instructions were to sit close with front runners in the initial stages of the race and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter he was denied a clear run in the final 300 mtrs due to SURPRISE PARTY (Nakhat Singh) changing the course on more than one occasion in the final stages of the race, noted.

JUNEAU (Arshad Alam) returned lame on right fore due to tendon strain.
