Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (MERITOCRACY) that his instructions were to go to front and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort in the straight, his mount did not shown any turn of foot inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer K. Satheesh while confirming the above added that his charge has gone up in the Handicap and ran to his potential.  Both the Jockey and Trainers explanations were noted for future reference.
 
Explanation of Jockey N. Rawal (CREATOR) that his mount was trying to run out throughout the race in the process shifted out at about the 1400 mtrs, forcing out NAUTANKI (Khurshad Alam), noted.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the CREATOR was trotting lame on left fore due to fetlock joint sprain.
 
Jockey Kuldeep Singh (GUNNER) was cautioned for shifting out at about the 200 mtrs in the process forcing out BAYRD (Deepak Singh).
 
Explanation of Jockey Deep Shanker (CITY OF SAILS) that his instructions were to go front or sit close with front runners but as his mount has soft mount he had difficulty in riding out his mount on an even keel in the initial stages of the race noted.  Trainer M. Satyanarayana was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.
