Racing Incidents

App. B.R. Kumar (EXCLUSIVE SYMBOL) was fined Rs. 2000/- for shifting in soon after the start and causing interference to VALLEE BOLOOMER (Akshay Kumar).
 
Explanation of Jockey G. Naresh (GANGADHAR) that he was crowded for room at about the 800 mtrs and in trying to control, his mount stumbled for no apparent reason, resulting in,he getting unbalanced in the saddle and got dislodged from the mount was noted.  Since the incident was purely accidental, no action beyond noting the same was taken.  The Jockey who was given immediate medical aid, was referred to the hospital for further examination.  The Jockey was declared medically unfit to ride for the remaining races of the race day
 
Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that GANGADHAR was trotting lame on right fore due to shoulder sprain.
 
Riderless GANGADHAR hampered the running of ASHKA ASHKA ASHKA (Aneel) and SAM THE BRAVE (N. Rawal) for greater part of the race.
 
OLD FAITHFUL (N.S. Parmar) returned lame on left fore due to old injury on front of cannon.
