Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey Suraj Narredu having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey S.S. Tanwar to be substituted on SOUTHERN PROMISE.
 
BATUR (Kiran Naidu) was denied a clear run soon after the start due to crowding of the field.
 
Explanation of App. R. Ajay Kumar (WESTERN WIND) that his mount was keen at about 1400 mtrs in the process shifted and forced out DURANGO (R.H. Hannam) was not accepted and the App. was severely reprimanded for failing to prevent his mount from shifting out at about the 1400 mtrs .
 
Jockey Akshay Kumar (PHENOMENAL CRUISE) was fined Rs. 3000/- for drifting in from about the 200 mtrs in the process tightening and taking the ground of SOUTHERN PROMISE (S.S. Tanwar) at about the 100 mtrs.
