Racing Incidents

CITY OF SAILS (G. Naresh) jumped out awkwardly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.
 
Jockey A.A. Vikrant (MARINA DEL REY) was cautioned for shifting in 50 mtrs after the start in the process bumping SHANDAAR (Koushik).
 
Explanation of Jockey Kuldeep Singh (PALACE ON WHEELS) in the presence of Trainer Laxman Singh that his instructions were to sit close with the front runners and to do  his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering into straight, but he accidently lost his whip at about the 400 mtrs and thereafter he has done his best in the straight was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs.10,000/- for losing whip at the crucial juncture of the race, thereby placing his mount at a disadvantage in the straight.
 
CITY OF SAILS (G. Naresh) sustained bleeding cut injury over right hind.  However, the gelding was trotting sound after the race.
