Racing Incidents

KESARIYA BALAM (S.S. Tanwar) was observed to be trotting lame on right fore due to shoulder sprain, as such the gelding has been permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.
 
Explanation of Jockey G. Naresh (CITY OF AKIRA) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer M. Satyanarayana while confirming the above added that the filly is running for the first time with higher rated horses i.e. for horses rated 26 to 46 as compared to the previous race which is for horses rated 30 and below as such she could not match strides with the superior bunch of horses was noted for future reference.
 
Explanation of App. Rohit Kumar (LA MER) in the presence of Trainer S.S.F. Hassan that his mount was hanging in, in the straight more so under pressure due to which he was unable to ride out his mount on an even keel was not accepted and the App. was fined Rs.5000/- for indifferent handling of his mount in the straight.  The App. was further cautioned to be more careful in future failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.
 
DOUBLY SURE (Kiran Naidu) returned lame on left fore due to tendon strain.
