Racing Incidents

Jockey Suraj Narredu (BAYRD) reported that his mount was trying to run out in the straight more so under pressure inspite of his best efforts. Trainer D. Netto was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race. Subsequent Veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no abnormalities and the mare was trotting sound after the race.
 
Explanation of Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (ROSE ETERNAL) that his instructions were to go to front and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter his mount dropped back from about the 400 mtrs finishing the course at the rear end inspite of his best efforts , noted for future reference. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities and was trotting sound after the race.
 
TOOTSIE ROLL (App. Jitendra Singh) was denied a clear run at about the 300 mtrs due to crowding of runners.
 
SOMERSET (C. Umesh) sustained cut injury over right fore. However, the rig was trotting sound after the race.
