Racing Incidents

NEW COMER (App .C.P. Bopanna) stumbled at about the 150 mtrs resulting in App. getting unbalanced in the saddle and dislodged from the mount. The App. who was given immediate medical aid, escaped unhurt.

AGILIS (Rafique Sk) who was racing directly behind collided with the riderless horse NEW COMER in the process dislodged Jockey Rafique Sk. The Jockey who was given immediate medical aid escaped unhurt. Subsequent Veterinary examinations revealed that NEW COMER was walking lame on right fore due to fracture of humerus.

Explanation of App. Jitendra Singh (MIND READER) in the presence of Trainer K. Satheesh that his mount held the bit and ran out from ab out the 800 and also in the straight inspite of his best efforts. The Trainer was advised to show his charge in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the stipendiary stewards before next accepting in a race.
