Racing Incidents

VIJAYS SINGHAM (T.S. Jodha) was fractious, reared up and hit the stall as a result all the gates opened automatically resulting in the horses jumped out from the gates without the Starters orders, as such the starters declared it as a False Start and all the jockeys were called back. Due to the above LOCKHART (P. Ajeeth Kumar) reared up and dropped the rider and finished the course riderless. As such LOCKHART was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders. The Jockey who was given immediate medical aid was declared medically unfit to ride for the remaining races of the day.  

Consequent to the above withdrawal, the Bookmakers’ and Fixed Odds liability remained unchanged on all Win bets, however, the Bookmakers’ and Fixed Odds liability has been reduced by 12 paise in a rupee on all place bets.

App. Jitendra Singh (SOMERSET) was cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course in the straight for no apparent reason.
