Jockey Rafique Sk (ARTEMIS ARROW) cautioned for shifting in soon after the start when he was not sufficiently clear of the runners racing on his inside.

Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (ATTICA) in the presence of Trainer R.H.Sequiera that his mount did not take a level jump as such he was unable to position his mount close with front runners in the initial stages of the race and thereafter his mount was gradually gaining ground in the straight and was hesitant to take the gap prevailing in front at about the 400 meters as such he was forced to shift out to make his move was noted. The Trainer while confirming the above added that his charge is running 1st time and opined that his charge needed longer distance.  The Trainer further added that other than this he had no plausible explanation to offer to his charges performance and he has fancied his charge as the gelding had the weight advantage was noted for future reference.  Subsequent Veterinary examination of gelding revealed no abnormalities and was trotting sound after the race.
