LA MER (Md. Ismail) was troublesome to stall and also her bridle came off, as such the mare has been permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders.  Trainer S.S.F. Hassan was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

App. Abhay Singh (SITARA) was cautioned to make more determined efforts to follow the given instructions for going to front.

Jockey Kiran Naidu (MARINA DEL REY) was cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the initial stages of the race to be well up with the field.

Explanation of Jockey Suraj Narredu (RAPID FIRE) that his instructions were to go to front or sit close with front runner which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter his mount did not raise a fluent gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts. Trainer S. Sreekant while confirming the above added that he had no plausible explanation to offer with regard to his charges poor performance was noted for future reference.

Explanation of App. Afroz Khan (MAKRAM) that his mount was keen and in trying to settle at about the 900 mtrs, he shifted out in the process forcing out SPORTING SMILE (Nakhat Singh) who in turn caused inconvenience to RAPID FIRE (Suraj Narredu) and FLAMINGO FAME (App. Santosh Raj N R) was not accepted and the App. was fined Rs. 1000/- for shifting out at about the 900 mtrs when there was no sufficient room.

Explanation of Trainer D. Netto with regard to the improved performance of his charge INCREDULOUS (B. R Kumar) winner of this race who finished off the board in the previous race, that his charge in her previous race was in front and dropped back from about the 200 mtrs whereas, this race being 1200 mtrs the 200 less to travel when compared to the previous race and a better Jockey in the saddle has added to his charges better performance and went on to win the race was noted. The Trainer was however cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future.

APOLLO (A. Ashhad Asbar) sustained cut injury over right hind. However, the gelding was trotting sound after the race.
