Consequent to Jockey Mukesh Kumar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted App. Afroz Khan to be substituted on QUEEN DANENERYS.

Explanation of App. Afroz Khan (QUEEN DANENERYS) that his mount jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths, due to which he could not position his mount well up with the field in the initial stages of the race and thereafter he did his best was noted. However, the App. was cautioned for shifting out at about the 800 mtrs in the process forcing out N R I SUN (P. Ajeeth Kumar). Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the filly lost its left fore shoe during the running of the race. However, the filly was trotting sound after the race.

Jockey Koushik (CASTLEROCK) was cautioned for shifting in soon after the start in the process forcing in N R I SUN (P. Ajeeth Kumar).

Explanation of Jockey P. Trevor (SATIN SYMPHONY) in the presence of Trainer Laxman Singh that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts. The Trainer while confirming the above added that the gelding ran to his potential was noted for future reference.

Explanation of Jockey Kuldeep Singh (TEAM PLAYER) that his mount suddenly tried to run out after passing the 1400 mtrs catching him unaware due to which he could not ride out his mount on an even keel. As this confirmed our observation, the Jockey explanation was noted. Trainer K. Satheesh was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

Explanation of Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (N R I SUN) that his instructions were to position his mount in the mid bunch and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering into straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, the gelding did not raise a winning gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts was confirmed by Trainer S. Sreekant noted for future reference.

LIGHTNING PEARL (Praveen Gaddam) trailed the field throughout the race inspite of Jockeys efforts.

MELTING ICE (B.R. Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.
