Racing Incidents

TITUS (A. Ashhad Asbar) jumped out slowly losing about 2 or 3 lengths.

Explanation of Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (TITUS) that his mount was hanging in, in the final 200 mtrs in the process shifted in and caused interference to GALLOPING GANGSTER (S.S. Tanwar) inspite of his best efforts was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs. 1000/- for shifting in, in the final 150 mtrs in the process causing interference to GALLOPING GANGSTER (S.S. Tanwar).

Explanation of Jockey A, Sandesh (CORFE CASTLE) that his instructions were to sit close with front runners and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow and when asked for an effort in the straight, his mount did not raise a winning gallop inspite of his best efforts, noted for future reference.

Explanation of Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (TITUS) that he was forced to check his mount at about the 400 mtrs due to wall of horses racing in front. As this confirmed our observation, no action beyond noting the same was taken.

Jockey Praveen Gaddam (PRINCE VALIANT) was severely reprimanded for failing to ride out his mount to complete advantage from about the 400 mtrs.
