Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey A A Vikrant having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey B.R. Kumar to be substituted on TURF MONARCH.
 
Consequent to Jockey P. Trevor having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey G. Naresh to be substituted on SHELDON.
 
AIR SALUTE (Kuldeep N B) reared up and got stuck inside the gates, as such the mare has been permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders, SSC revoked.
 
Jockey Rafique Sk. (LIGHTNING PEARL) and App. Surya Prakash (ASTRONAUT) were cautioned for shifting out and in respectively at about the 450 mtrs in the process bumped each other.
 
Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (STARK) in the presence of Trainer Laxman Singh that his instructions were to sit close with front runners and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, the gelding dropped the bit and shorted his strides and dropped back inspite of his best efforts, noted for future reference.
 
ROYAL AVENGER (B. Nikhil) trailed the field throughout the race.
