Srinivas Reddy while confirming the above added that he had no plausible explanation to offer with regard to his charges dismal performance was not accepted and the Trainer has been fined a sum of Rs. 5000/- for inconsistent running of his charge.

Explanation of Trainer S. Sreekant with regard to the inconsistent running of his charge CITY OF WISDOM (Mukesh Kumar) winner of this race, who finished off board in the previous race that his charge in the previous race i.e. R. No. 98, has run in 9 furlong race and was with the front bunch upto final 300 mtrs and thereafter dropped back.  His charge always performed well in the 6 &7 furlong races and this races being 7 furlong Race, the 400 mtrs less to travel was to his charges advantage, went on to win the race. The Trainer further stated that in future, he will not run in longer distance was noted. The Trainer was however, cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future.
