Racing Incidents

GALWAY BAY (C.S. Jodha) jumped out awkwardly in the process lost about 1 or 2 lengths. The Jockey was however, cautioned to ride out his mount past the post in future.
 
Explanation of Jockey B Nikhil (SUNDAY PICNIC) in the presence of Trainer L D' Silva that his mount jumped out slowly and did not raise a proper gallop as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage and finished the course distance behind inspite of his best efforts was noted. The Jockey was however cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the start in future.   Trainer L.D’ Silva was advised to show his charge at the gates to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting in a race.
 
Explanation of Jockey N B Kuldeep (EVERGLADES) that his mount was hanging in, in the straight more so under pressure inspite of his best efforts, noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the colt has sustained bleeding cut injury over left hind, however, the colt was trotting sound after the race.
 
Jockey A.Ashhad Asbar (NEGLECT ME NOT) reported that his mount ran green in the straight.
