BLOOM BUDDY (Akshay Kumar) and SACRED LAMP (B. Nikhil) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths each.
 
Jockey Khurshad Alam (LIFETIME) was fined Rs.1000/- for shifting out soon after the start on to HIDDEN HOPE (S.S. Tanwar) who in turn shifted out and caused interference to EXPONENT (Praveen Gaddam).
 
Jockey Praveen Gaddam (EXPONENT) was fined Rs.1000/- for tender handling of his mount in the initial stages of the race.
 
Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (BLOOM BUDDY) in the presence of Trainer R H Sequeira that his mount did not show initial speed as such he could not position his mount well up with the field and in the straight when asked for an effort, his mount did not raise a winning gallop inspite of best efforts,. The Trainer while confirming the above opined that his charge needs longer distance and in future he will run in longer distance was noted for future reference.
 
Explanation of Jockey B. Nikhil (SACRED LAMP) that his mount was tending to run out in the straight inspite of his best efforts was not accepted and the Jockey was severely cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course in the straight.
 
Explanation of Jockey C S Jodha (MAONARCHOS) that his mount started dropping back in the final 200 mtrs inspite of his best efforts, noted for future reference.
 
SACRED LAMP (B. Nikhil) sustained bleeding cut injury over left fore. However, the mare was trotting sound after the race.
