Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (HAPPY GO LUCKY) that as his mount took an awkward jump, he could not go to front as instructed and when asked for an effort in the straight his charge shortened her strides and dropped back inspite of his best efforts was confirmed by Trainer M. Srinivas Reddy was noted for future reference.

Explanation of Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju with regard to the improved performance of his charge CABELLO (P. Sai Kumar) that his charge does not have initial speed, as such instructed to position as close as possible with the front runners in the initial stages of the race and in the previous race which being 1st run of the season, the filly ran and finished 6th after which the filly has improved over the previous run. In this race the filly ran in a similar manner, came from behind, covered lot of ground in the straight and went on to win the race. The Trainer further added that he had not fancied but given her a chance was noted. The Trainer was however, cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future, failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.

Explanation of Trainer K. Robin Reddy with regard to the poor performance of his charge ABOVE THE LAW (Md. Ismail) that his charge is not a genuine horse and in the previous race ran with a weaker set of horses and also because of rain, the going suited his charge and placed 2nd as compared to the present set which being a superior set of horses his charge could not hold the position in the front and dropped back in the final 100 mtrs inspite of the Jockeys efforts, noted for future reference. The Trainer was however informed to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future.
