Racing Incidents

Jockey Dhanu S Deora (DELHI HEIGHTS) was cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course soon after the start.

Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (URGENT) in the presence of Trainer R H Sequeira that his instructions were to sit close with front runners which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount did not raise a fluent gallop and dropped back in the straight and finished the course distance behind inspite of his best efforts. The Trainer while confirming the above added that he too was baffled by the running of his charge and has no plausible explanation to offer to his charges poor performance was noted for future reference.

CREATIVE ART (App. Santosh Raj N R) was observed to have sustained clipped injury over left hind. However, the filly was trotting sound after the race.
