Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey B R Kumar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted App. Abhay Singh to be substituted on LUCKY NINE
 
App. Abhay Singh (LUCKY NINE) reported that his mount ran green throughout the race in the process causing inconvenience to SANTA BARBARA (B. Nikhil) soon after the start and in the straight ran out inspite of his best efforts. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the colt was trotting lame on right fore due to sore shin.
 
Jockey B. Nikhil (SANTA BARBARA) reported that his mount ran green for greater part of the race inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer L D Silva was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.
 
Jockey Hindu Singh (N R I DOUBLEPOWER) was cautioned for shifting in at about the 200 mtrs when he was not sufficiently clear of HUNTINGDON (App. Afroz Khan) racing on the rails.
