Jockey Suraj Narredu (LA MIRAGE) was cautioned for shifting out soon after the start in the process crowding the runners drawn on his outside.
 
Explanation of Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (MORIOR INVICTUS) that he was denied a clear run soon after the start due to crowding of the runners racing in front and thereafter his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts, was confirmed by the Trainer was noted.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the mare was trotting lame on left foe due to shoulder sprain.  
 
Explanation of App. Afroz Khan (BELLAGIO) in the presence of Trainer L D Silva that his instructions were to sit 3rd/4th and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount shortened her strides and dropped back in the straight inspite of his best efforts. The Trainer while confirming the above added that he too was baffled with the running of his charge and had no explanation to offer to his charges poor performance was noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the filly was trotting lame on left fore due to painful lateral splint.
 
 
Explanation of Jockey Rafique Sk (UNSUNG HERO) in the presence of Trainer N. Rawal that he was denied a clear run soon after the start due to crowding of the runners racing in front as such he was unable to follow the instructions given by the Trainer was not accepted and the Jockey was severely cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts to be well up with field in the initial stages of the race.
