Racing Incidents

Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (GOLDEN GAZELLE) was fined Rs.3000/- for shifting in 50 mtrs after the start in the process forcing in MIRACLE MARY (App. Abhay Singh) who in turn shifted in and took the ground of MISS MAYA (Akshay Kumar).

Explanation of App. Abhay Singh (MIRACLE MARY) that his mount was tending to run out in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer R H Sequeira was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (MISS MAYA) in the presence of Trainer R H Sequeira that his instructions were to sit close with front runners which he could not follow as he was denied a clear run soon after the start and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount was lugging in under pressure and did not raise a winning gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts was confirmed by Trainer R H Sequeira was noted for future reference. Trainer R H Sequeira was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.
