Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (LAURUS) in the presence of Trainer R H Sequeira that his instructions were to sit close with front runners but due to fast initial pace he could not position his mount as instructed and in the straight he was denied a clear run until about the 200 mtrs due to wall of horses racing in front as such he was forced to shift out to make his final move was not accepted and the Jockey was cautioned for failing to make more determined efforts to shift out immediately after passing the patch at about the 400 mtrs when the wall of horses were racing in front.

Explanation of Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (CITY OF BLISS) that his instructions were to go to front or sit close which he tried to follow until entering into straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, the mare shortened her strides in the final 100 mtrs of the race and dropped back inspite of his best efforts was confirmed by Trainer N. Rawal was noted for future reference.

Explanation of Jockey Mukesh Kumar (TOP IN CLASS) that due to fast initial speed, he was unable to sit well up with the field in the initial stages of the race and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount did not raise a winning gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer S S F Hassan while confirming the above added that his charge due to badly drawn (12) and fast initial pace his charge was used in the initial stages of the race to be well up with the field resulting in the gelding tired and did not show any turn of foot in the straight was not accepted and the Trainer was cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future.
