Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (MISS MAYA) that his instructions were to sit close which he tried to follow until entering into straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount was hanging in, in the straight more so under pressure inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer R H Sequeira was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.
 
Explanation of Jockey Mukesh Kumar (JUGGERNAUT EXPRESS) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop in the straight was not accepted and the Jockey was cautioned for failing to ride out his mount past the post though on a beaten horse.
