As Jockey Mukesh Kumar failed to weight out with the weight declared, the Stewards permitted App. Gaurav Singh to be substituted on WOT'S UP JAY.

Explanation of Trainer R H Sequeira with regard to the improved performance of his charge PACIFIC COMMAND (App. Abhay Singh) winner of this race, who finished off board in the previous run that his charge in the previous race i.e in Race No. 109 ran 1st time after being operated and in that race the gelding did not show any speed as such he has given a long gap of more than 40 days and ran in this race. The Trainer added that the gap of 40 days, change of equipment and 400 mtrs extra to travel has been to his charges advantage as such the improved performance and the gelding just managed to win the race. The Trainer further added that he had not fancied and but given him a chance was noted for future reference. The Trainer was however, cautioned to ensure that his charge race more consistently in future.

Explanation of Jockey P S Chouhan (ARBA WAHED ARBA) that his mount did not show any turn of foot in the straight and dropped back inspite of his best efforts, noted.

The Stewards of the Hyderabad Race Club suspended Jockey Mukesh Kumar from riding in races on 2nd March, 2023 for weighing out more than the permissible weight of 1.5 kgs (over weight) on his mount WOT’S UP JAY and permitted Trainer Sk. Waseem Ahmed to change the Jockey on his charge thereby contravening the conditions laid down in the HRC Sheet Racing calendar.

The Jockey is however, permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension.
