Explanation of Trainer LVR Deshmukh with regard to the dismal performance of his charge TEMPTATIONS (App. Kuldeep S) unplaced in this race, who finished 2nd in the previous run that his charge after the previous run i.e Race No. 6, had a setback (tendon problem) and was treated for the same, as such he has given long gap and ran in this race. The Trainer opined that the filly ran to her potential. The Trainer further added that he has not fancied and was surprised to see that his charge opened as favourite, noted for future reference.  

Explanation of Trainer K. Satheesh with regard to the improved performance of his charge CITY CRUISE (App. Md. Ekram Alam) winner of this race who finished off board in the previous run that his charge always performed well except in Race No. 161 where the gelding could not go to front and was stuck in between the runners and in the straight when asked for an effort, the gelding did not raise a fluent gallop as compared to the present race where the App. was able to go to front and set his own pace and went on to win the race. The Trainer further added that he had not fancied his charge and was available at longer odds was not accepted and the Trainer was fined Rs. 5,000/- for inconsistent running of his charge and cautioned for future.

INDIAN KING (Mukesh Kumar) returned lame on left fore due to shoulder sprain.
