Consequent of Jockey Dhanu S Deora having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted Jockey B. Nikhil to be substituted on STRAUSS.
 
Consequent of Jockey B R Kumar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted Jockey Surjit Kumar Paswan to be substituted on  HARD TO TOSS.
 
Explanation of Jockey P. Trevor (BARBET) that his mount did not relish the underfoot conditions and did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts. Trainer Laxman Singh while confirming the above added that he too was baffled with the running of his charge and opined that soft going track might not have suited to his charge, as such poor performance. The Trainer further added that he has fancied his charge was noted for future reference. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that though the filly was trotting sound but has sharp molars on both sides, noted. Trainer Laxman Singh was fined Rs.2,000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting his charge for a race.
 
BARBET (P. Trevor) placed 5th in the race is sampled.
