LIFE IS GOOD (Md. Ismail) took a fly jump and lost about 1 or 2 lengths.
 
Explanation of Jockey Suraj Narredu (AUSTRALIA) that his instructions were to sit close 2nd/3rd which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount did not show any turn of foot in the straight inspite of his best efforts. Trainer Laxman Singh while confirming the above added that his charge ran for the first time in a handicap race carrying top weight over a distance of about 2000 mtrs and opined that the gelding has run to the potential was noted for future reference.  Subsequent Veterinary examination of revealed that though the gelding was trotting sound has a sharp molars on both sides.  Trainer Laxman Singh was fined a sum of Rs.2000/-for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting his charge for a race.
 
App. Shivansh (CARNIVAL LADY) was cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts to be well up with the field in the initial stages of the race.
 
Explanation of Jockey B. Nikhil (MY WAY OR HIGHWAY) that his mount was hanging in throughout the race and dropped back in the final stages of the race inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer Jasbir Singh was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.
 
AUSTRALIA (Suraj Narredu) placed third in the race is sampled.
