SPECIAL EFFORT (P. Sai Kumar) reared up inside the stall as the start was affected jumped out without rider, SSC revoked.
 
Explanation of Jockey S. Saqlain (SUNDANCE KID) that due to fast initial pace, he was unable to position his mount well up with the field in the initial stages of the race and the horse was gaining ground only in the straight was noted for future reference.  However, the Jockey was fined a sum of Rs.10,000/- for excessive and improper use of whip (2nd offence).
