Racing Incidents

MIREYA (A M Tograllu) was observed to be trotting lame on right fore due to foot infection. As such the mare has been permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.

App. Ajay Kumar (OK BOSS) was cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course soon after the start.

Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (FIRST CLASS) in the presence of Trainer Mangan Singh Parmar that his instructions were sit close 3rd/4th which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort his mount did not raise a winning gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts.  The Trainer while confirming the above added that his charge does not have initial speed as such instructed the Jockey to get into the horse soon after the start which the Jockey has done and opinioned that his charge needs longer distance, noted for future reference.

Explanation of Trainer L D Silva with regard to the improved performance of his charge DOE A DEER (App. Shivansh) winner of the race who finished off board in the previous race that his charge did not run to the expectations carrying top weight in the previous two runs as such he opted to take allowance in this race.  The 5 kgs allowance claiming Jockey in the saddle has been to his charge advantage and just managed to win the race.  The Trainer further added that based on the previous performance, he has not fancied his charge and was available at longer odds, noted.

DOE A DEER (App. Shivansh) returned lame on left fore due to painful lateral palmar ligaments.
