Racing Incidents
FATUMA (A. Ashhad Asbar) was observed to be lame on left fore due to shoulder sprain, as such the mare has been permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. SORRY DARLING (Vivek G) planted and took no practical part in the race, SSC revoked. Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (TRIPURARI) in the presence of Trainer Magan Singh Parmar that his instructions were to go to front which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount did not raise a winning gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts. Trainer Magan Snigh Parmar while confirming the above added that in all the previous runs his charge has run in higher category and did nothing. In this race his charge has run in lower category as the gelding has come down in handicap, as such opted to declare a better Jockey i.e. Akshay Kumar. The Trainer further added that as his charge was running in a lower category with a better Jockey, he had fancied but was surprises to see on money favourite was noted for future reference. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that though the gelding was trotting sound but had a sharp molars on both sides. Trainer Magan Singh Parmar was fined a sum of Rs.2000/- for negligence in discharging of his duties in presenting of his charge for a race. Explanation of Trainer K. Robin Reddy with regard to the inconsistent running of his charge EXCLUSIVE LUCK (Md. Ismail) the winner of this race who finished off board in the previous run that his charge always ran in a conditional races i.e. either age group or maiden races except Race No. 82, which was an open race in higher category where the gelding could not match the strides with the tougher bunch. This race being an age group race in the lower category, his charge could be positioned well up with the field in the initial stages of the race went onto win the race, noted. The Trainer was however, cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future. TRIPURARI (Akshay Kumar) placed 4th in the race is sampled.
