Consequent to Jockey G Naresh having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey Md.Ismail to be substituted on ZIDANE.

JACK DANIEL (R S Jodha) was observed to be trotting lame on right fore due to foot infection, as such the gelding has been permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.

Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (D BATTLE) reported that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts, noted.

Explanation of Jockey Kuldeep Singh (Sr) (ASSURED SUCCESS) in the presence of Trainer S. Sreekanth that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop for greater part of the race inspite of his best efforts. The Trainer while confirming the above added that he too was baffled with the way of running of his charge and has no plausible explanation to offer with regard to his charges dismal performance, noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding bled after the race.  Further examination revealed that though the gelding was trotting sound but has sharp molars on both sides. Trainer S.Sreekant fined Rs.2000/-for  negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge in a race.

App. Ajay Kumar (THUNDER KNIGHT) reported loss of whip at about the 300 mtrs.

ZIDANE (Md.Ismail) was observed to have sustained bleeding cut injury over right hind, however, the gelding was trotting sound after the race.
