Racing Incidents

Jockey Santosh Raj N R (SPLENDOUR ON GRASS) was fined Rs. 2000/- for shifting in soon after the start in the process causing inconvenience to MAVERICK (Kuldeep Singh (Sr)).
 
Explanation of Jockey Kuldeep Singh (Sr) (MAVERICK) in the presence of Trainer D Netto that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer D. Netto while confirming the above added that his charge has gone up in the handicap and was running for the first time in this Category with a tougher bunch as compare to the previous runs, other than this, he had no plausible explanation to offer with regard to his charges poor performance, was noted for future reference. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that though the gelding was trotting sound but had sharp molars on both sides. Trainer D. Netto was fined a sum of Rs.2000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting his charge in a race. 
 
MAVERICK (Kuldeep Singh (Sr)) placed 7th in the race is sampled.
