Racing Incidents

MANDELA (Hindu Singh) was trotting lame on left hind due to old injury over outer bulb of heel, as such the colt has been permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds.
 
Explanation of Jockey Afroz Khan (SACRED BOND) in the presence of Trainer L D Silva that his instructions were to sit close 3rd/4th which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount did not raise a winning gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted.
 
N R I SUPERPOWER (App. Shivansh) dropped back from about the 300 mtrs whilst travelling in front.  Trainer R H Sequeira was advised for a better performance in future.
 
Explanation of Jockey Kuldeep Singh (Sr) (DETECTIVE) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts, noted. Subsequent endoscopic examination revealed as a bleeder.
