SUCKER PUNCH (G. Naresh) was examined at the gates and was observed to be trotting lame on right fore, as such the gelding has been permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds before coming under starters orders.

Explanation of Jockey R S Jodha (POWER RANGER) that his instructions were to sit close 4th/5th but due to fast initial pace, he could not position his mount as instructed was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs. 3000/- for tender handling of his mount in the initial stages of the race.

Explanation of App. Ajay Kumar (PRECIOUS GIFT) that his mount dropped back in the final 300 mtrs in the process finished the course at the rear end of the field inspite of his best efforts. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that though the mare was trotting sound after the race but had sharp molars on both sides. Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju was fined a sum of Rs. 1000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge for a race where the mare ran with sharp molars on both sides.

Veterinary examination of BEAUTY FLAME (Mohit Singh) revealed that the mare sustained cut injury on right fore inside fetlock . However, the mare was trotting sound after the race.
