Racing Incidents

AMBOSELI (Mohit Singh) was observed to have swelling over right fore knee, as such the filly has been permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.
 
Explanation of Jockey Kuldeep Singh (Sr) (RIVER DEEP) that his mount did not show any initial speed, as such he was unable to position his mount well up with the field in the initial stages of the race and was gaining ground gradually in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that though the colt was trotting sound but had sharp molars on both sides. D. Netto was fined Rs.2,000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge for a race.
 
Jockey A A Vikrant (MIKIMOTO) was cautioned for travelling wide until entering the straight for no apparent reason.
