Racing Incidents
Jockey Daniel M.Grant was questioned regarding the poor perfomance of HAZELHEAD in this race. Jockey Daniel M Grant stated that he was instructed to ride his own race. He said that he wanted to pull the horse out after entering the straight and ride out. However, the horse did not give him any feel and he had to ask for an effort from 600 meters itself. He added that he had worked the horse during the Track work and she had worked well but did not produce the same in the race. He opined that the mare may race better with the Blinkers. The explanation tendered has been noted.
