Racing Incidents
MASTER CRAFT (S.S.Baria) was reluctant to reach the start. Trainer Asad Siddiqui has been asked to school his charge to proceed to the Starting Gate before next accepting with him to race. UCANDOIT (S.P.Ranjane) was reluctant to be stalled despite all efforts. As such, the gelding was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. Trainer H.J.Antia has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting with him to race. Jockey R.Shelar (GOLDEN KINGDOM) has been fined Rs.1000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. Further, he has been cautioned for allowing his mount to shift out under the use of the whip. After the race, HISHAM & SUN GLORY were found to be sore by the right fore leg. Both the horses have to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race. After the race, UCANDOIT was found to be sound.
