MY LUCKY STAR (Akash Agarwal) jumped out slowly, losing about 2 lengths at the start.

Trainer Anil Kumar has been fined Rs.3000/- for racing his charge DIAMONDZIP without the bandages, for the removal of which no prior permission was obtained.

At the start, ABERDARES (D.Patel) drifted inwards despite Jockey’s effort. Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

Soon after the start, RADICAL MACKIE (D.K.Ashish, dr.8) shifted in and went in on to WINGS TO FLY (Dashrath Singh, dr.7) who in turn went in on to LAURUS PRIDE (T.S.Jodha, dr.6) who in turn hampered the running of ELCETRA (B.Prakash). Due to the interference, LAURUS PRIDE, while dropping back, forced BELLE BRISE (Khalander), who was following to shift outwards and cause ADERBADES (D.Patel) to shift out. Jockey D.K.Ashish was reported to the Stewards for careless riding. The Stewards interviewed Jockey D.K.Ashish and not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by him, decided to suspend his Jockey’s License for 4^th February 2012 for Careless Riding. (Permitted to ride work/Mock race).

Approaching 800 metres, WINGS TO FLY (Dashrath Singh) shifted in and hampered the running the DIAMONDZIP (R.Rupesh).

Soon on straightening for home, DIAMONDZIP (R.Rupesh) was tightened and steadied while racing between ELECTRA (B.Prakash) and LOLA (Malcolm Kharadi).

Jockey Khalander (BELLE BRISE) was observed to have ridden feebly in the straight. On questioning, Jockey Khalandar stated that he found his saddle shifting and therefore he had not ridden out the horse. On examination the buckle of the girth was found to have turned the other side which may have resulted in the saddle being loose. Trainer Altamash A.Ahmed, when questioned, stated that the horse had received interference at the start and due to pressure the hook of the buckle on the girth may be turned to the other side. The explanation was noted.

After the race, BELLE BRISE and RADICAL MACKIE were found to be sound.
