Racing Incidents

At the request of Trainer Faisal A.Abbas, WINDSOR QUEEN was examined at 1150 hours on 20/03/2014  and was found to have a cut injury on the left hip, as such, the mare was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the mare from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting with her to race.

IZARRA (S.G.Prasad) lost about 2 lengths at the start.

Trainer Vijay Kasbekar has been fined Rs.2,000/- for declaring incorrect shoeing in respect of her charge EL WONDER wherein the gelding was declared to have plain Aluminium, but on examination it was found to have Poly Bonded Aluminium plates.

Near 600 metres, WALKING TALL (A.Ashhad Asbar) was inconvenienced as WARRIOR PRINCE (Prabhu Naidu) shifted inwards. Jockey Prabhu Naidu has been cautioned.

After the race, IZARRA was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
