Racing Incidents

HIGHLAND WOODS (P. S. Chouhan) was reluctant to reach the starting point. Trainer Nazak Chenoy has been asked to take remedial measures. Further, on arrival at the start, HIGHLAND WOODS was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was certified fit to race.
 
KRAMER (P. Trevor) was reluctant to be stalled and thereafter was restless in the stall and not allowing the rider to settle. Trainer M. Narredu has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
Soon after the start, YUTAKA (Vikram Jodha) leaned inwards on to HIGHLAND WOODS (P. S. Chouhan).
 
Passing 900 metres, Jockey C. S. Jodha (LADY SERGEANT) shifted in thereby tightening YUTAKA (Vikram Jodha) who had to be checked. Jockey C. S. Jodha has been fined Rs.1,000/-.
 
After the race, Jockey N. S. Parmar (PANDEMONIUM) reported that his mount was inclined to run out throughout the race and in his effort to correct his mount, the filly had shied in
 
After the race, Jockey P. Trevor (KRAMER) reported that approaching 200 metres his mount had clenched its bit on one side and drifted out despite his efforts. Trainer M. Narredu has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
 
After the race, Jockey Suraj Narredu (ICE DANCER) reported that his mount hung out in the straight.
 
After the race, Jockey A. Sandesh (NEXTSTAR) reported that his mount was running green.
 
After the race, KRAMER and LADY SERGEANT were trotted and found to be sound.
