After the race, Jockey Neeraj Rawal (JETFIRE) reported that his mount hung in throughout the race. Trainer A. M. Jadhav has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the colt.
 
On being questioned after the race, Jockey Leigh Roche (KANCHENJUNGA) stated that his mount was inclined outwards throughout the race. He further said that the filly had behaved in a similar manner in her first mock race run on 23rd December 2018, however, in her subsequent mock race run on 6th January 2019 she was well behaved. To a specific question, he said that in his opinion the filly behaves erratically only when she is settled / crowded. In view of the above, Trainer P.Shroff has been asked to take remedial measures and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race, before next accepting with her to race.
 
After the race, BOOMERANG was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, SULLIVAN was observed to have a cut injury at the right hind hock. KANCHENJUNGA was found to be sound in the trot.
