At the request of Trainer S. K. Sunderji, ALMAS was examined in the stable area at 6.15 p.m. on 26/11/2022 and was found to be lame by right hind, the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

PHANTA (S. J. Sunil, dr. 10) took a fly jump thereby losing about 3 lengths at the start.

Soon after the start, DILBAR (App. A. S. Peter, dr.8) shifted in at the same time DON’T BE SHY (S. G. Prasad, dr.5) leaned outwards thereby tightening and inconveniencing IMPERMANANCE (App. P. Vinod, dr.6) and ARBITRAGE (K. Nazil, dr.7)  drawn between them.

Passing 900 meters, DILBAR (App. A. S. Peter) shifted in under urgings thereby tightening and inconveniencing HELA (Bhawani Singh) causing the latter to be checked. After questioning App. A. S. Peter and not being satisfied with the explanation, he has been fine Rs.2,000/-.

Passing the 700 metres, HABIBI (Neeraj Rawal) leaned inwards thereby inconveniencing DON’T BE SHY (S. G. Prasad) who had to be steadied. Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been cautioned.

App. A. S. Peter (DILBAR) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his first offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2022/23, he has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

After the race, Jockey S. J. Sunil (PHANTA) reported that his mount leaned-in in the stall and was not allowing him to settle. Tr. M. Narredu has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

After the race, HELA was trotted and found to be sound and RISING BRAVE had gum injury.
