Racing Incidents

Passing the 400 metres, WAIKIKI (N.S. Parmar) leaned inwards due to which MOMENTOUS (A. Sandesh) shyed in and had to be checked. After questioning and not being satisfied with the explanation, Jockey N.S. Parmar has been fined Rs. 2000/-

TRANSCEND (K. Nazil) was observed to be running green in the straight.

Jockey N. S. Parmar (WAIKIKI) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his 2nd offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2022/23, he has been fined Rs.5,000/-

After the race, Jockey A. Sandesh (MOMENTOUS) reported that his mount hung out throughout the race. Trainer Rajesh Narredu has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

After the race, TRANSCEND was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s Sr. V.O., before next accepting to race.

After the race, VERSACE was trotted and was found to have a clip injury on right hind tendon.

After the race, MOMENTOUS was trotted and found to be sound.
